Four Generations of Investors

Two medical doctors who have been clients for ten years approached us for advice on managing the wife's parents' investment portfolios. Her parents were residing in a senior's home at the time and wanted to put their affairs in good order. Their primary objective was to structure the assets efficiently to reduce estate taxes and other administrative costs that their estate would incur on their death. We structured their investment portfolio and implemented a tax-free strategy to allow a smooth transition to their daughter.

David has been managing their four children's investment portfolios for over eight years. When two of the children presented their parents with grandchildren, they invited David to continue the happy tradition by managing the fourth generation's investment portfolios.

The Result

Reduced costs against the estate and investment strategies for each family member that will help ensure the well being of a fifth generation.
